IBEXX TECH NOTE – 858 Power Valve Verification

Power valve cable position on the 858 is critical to throttle response, midrange torque, and overall power delivery. Over time, cable setting can shift and affect performance consistency.

Using AC Tool #836-00005, confirm proper adjustment. If drivability or performance concerns are present, this should be one of the first items inspected.

We recommend verifying correct servomotor bracket alignment and confirming full, proper cable stroke during inspection.

Also reference the 12/5/25 Technical Advisory regarding Servomotor Bracket Alignment, as bracket position directly influences valve synchronization.
