Tools Needed:

-5/16 nut driver                                                                                   -Snap Ring Pliers

-8mm socket                                                                                         -T30

-10mm socket                                                                                         -Polaris Belt Removal Tool

-15mm socket                                                                                        -1/8 Allen

-3/8 socket

Removing Factory Components:

  1. Using 5/16 nut driver remove intake tube
  2. Locate and remove 8 of the 8mm bolts that hold clutch cover
  3. Using a 15 mm socket remove secondary bolt
  4. After bolt has been removed use the snap ring pliers to remove snap ring
  5. Remove secondary clutch and place on work bench

Primary Clutch:

  1. Remove six of the 10mm bolts that hold spring in place
  2. Using 1/8 Allan & 3/8 socket remove factory weights
  3. Insert Advanced Profile Weight and tighten the pins
  4. Replace factory spring with IBEXX Spring
  5. Replace clutch cover and tighten all 6 of the 10mm bolts to 100 in/ibs

Secondary Clutch:

  1. Using spring compressor tool carefully remove 3 of the T30 bolts
  2. Replace factory spring with IBEXX Spring
  3. Replace factory helix with IBEXX custom cut helix
  4. Torque the three T30 Bolts to 8-12 ft/ibs
  5. Clutch can be replaced back on machine
  6. Replace factory washers and snap ring
  7. Torque secondary clutch bolt 15mm to 40 lbs

Factory Component Re-assembly:

  1. Using factory tool compress secondary clutch to allow drive belt to be replaced
  2. Once belt is on remove secondary compression tool
  3. Spin secondary clutch unit belt slides to proper belt deflection
  4. Re install factory plastic clutch cover
  5. Torque all 8 of the 8 mm bolts to 48 in/ibs
  6. Re place intake tube and tighten clamp with 5/16 nut driver

Magnet Position Recommendations: 1 Magnet = big magnet, .5 Magnet = small magnet
