Tools Needed:

  • 5/16 Nut Driver 
  • 5 MM Socket 
  • Belt Removal tool
  • Snap Ring Pliers 
  • 3/8 Socket
  • T25 
  • 1/8 Allan 

Removing Factory Components:

  1. Using 5/16 nut driver remove hose clamp and air inlet hose
  2. Locate and remove the eight 5/16 screws
  3. Using a 15 MM socket remove secondary clutch retaining bolt
  4. Remove secondary clutch and place on work bench 

Primary Clutch Disassembly/Assembly:

  1. Remove the six 3/8  bolts 
  2. Using 1/8 Allan & 3/8 socket remove factory weights 
  3. Replace weights with Advanced Profile Weights
  4. Replace factory spring with Ibexx spring
  5. Replace clutch cover and tighten all six of the 3/8 mm bolts to 100 in/Ibs 

Secondary Clutch Disassembly/Assembly:

  1. Using clutch compressor tool, compress secondary clutch
  2. Remove the four T25 bolts 
  3. Slowly decompress the clutch to allow spring and helix to be removed and exchanged 
  4. Once spring and Helix have been changed, compress clutch 
  5. Align the helix to install the four T25 bolts 
  6. Reinstall secondary on machine
  7. Tighten 15mm bolt and torque to 40 ft/Ibs

Factory Component Re-Assembly:

  1. Install drive belt
  2. Install factory plastic clutch cover
  3. Tighten all eight of the 5/16 screws 
  4. Re-install air intake tube

Magnet Position Recommendations: 1 Magnet = big magnet, .5 Magnet = small magnet
